Ford Motor Co. (F) is still acting like a sell-the-pop name, and nothing on this chart suggests that’s changed yet. Price is stuck below the Ichimoku cloud, and every push into resistance has been met with rejection—there’s no sustained bid behind this.
Momentum is fading as well. ADX is rolling over, and the +DI / –DI lines are compressing, which typically leads to chop or a directional move after a failed push. Given the broader structure, that move is more likely to resolve lower unless buyers prove otherwise.

From a trading standpoint, this isn’t a chase-long setup. The cleaner play remains:
- Short failed rallies into resistance / cloud levels
- Watch for rejection wicks or loss of intraday support as triggers
A reclaim and hold above the cloud would force a shift in bias, but until that happens, this is a fade candidate, not a breakout candidate.
Wishing you the best,
Wendy
