Sirius XM (SIRI) surged 7.5% Wednesday to $29.70 on heavier-than-average volume after Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy and raised its price target sharply from $31 to $45. The firm cited improving revenue, EBITDA and free-cash-flow expectations, greater stability in the satellite-radio business, and significant potential from digital advertising—including SiriusXM’s exclusive U.S. audio-advertising relationship with YouTube.

Deutsche Bank also sees the expected return of share repurchases later this year as another potential catalyst. Technically, the news sparked a strong breakout from SIRI’s recent consolidation, pushing shares back above the 8-, 21- and 55-day EMAs while PPO turned bullish. The next area to watch is roughly $30–$31, with a break above that zone potentially opening the door for a retest of the July highs.

Wishing you the best,

Wendy
