Rather than chasing every stock participating in the broader rally, we’re paying closer attention to names establishing their own momentum. One stock that has separated itself from the pack is Maplebear Inc. (CART), where the technical structure has continued to improve since the spring. CART triggered a ProfitSurge Buy in early April as its 21-Day EMA moved above its 63-Day EMA, and that bullish relationship has remained intact with shares holding above both averages. Now trading at fresh 52-week highs, CART is showing the kind of sustained momentum, relative strength, and trend confirmation that puts the stock firmly on our trading radar.

There are a couple of straightforward ways to approach the setup, including simply buying shares and participating directly in the move, but traders looking for more leverage could consider a slightly in-the-money call. A call requires less capital than buying a large position in the underlying shares outright and gives the trader defined downside risk, while still providing meaningful upside participation if the breakout continues. For example, under the current setup we’re watching, if CART were to gain 10% by expiration, the call could be on pace for roughly a 140.2% profit, although the actual result would depend on the option’s price, expiration, volatility and where CART trades at that time.
