Meta Platforms (META) is surging after the company launched Muse, a new personal AI agent designed to perform everyday tasks such as booking travel, shopping, managing schedules, filling out forms and sending emails. Muse is available with a free tier as well as paid subscription options, giving investors a clearer path toward monetizing Meta’s enormous AI investment. Wall Street analysts responded enthusiastically, with Mizuho describing Muse as the potential beginning of a significant new product cycle and an important step toward demonstrating a return on Meta’s AI spending.

Investors responded aggressively, sending META up nearly 7% today, even as the broader market traded lower. The gap higher pushed the stock decisively above its 8-, 21-, 55- and 233-day moving averages, including the important longer-term average near $620. Momentum has strengthened sharply: PPO is accelerating higher and +DI has climbed well above -DI, although ADX remains relatively low, suggesting the new uptrend is still developing. META is now testing resistance around $655–$660; a sustained break above that area could open the door to the next resistance zone around $670–$680.
Wishing you the best,
Wendy
