NVIDIA (NVDA) continues to consolidate just above its rising 8-week and 21-week EMAs, keeping its longer-term uptrend intact despite recent profit-taking. While the MACD and PPO have softened from recent highs, both remain in positive territory, suggesting momentum is cooling rather than reversing. ADX remains supportive with +DI holding above -DI, indicating buyers still maintain the longer-term edge.

Fundamentally, NVIDIA received another significant boost after announcing a partnership with Noetra Corp. to build the world’s first NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI factory in Japan. Backed by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the 140-megawatt AI infrastructure project will power the country’s FRONTia initiative, accelerating development of AI agents, robotics, digital twins, and physical AI applications. The announcement further reinforces NVIDIA’s leadership in AI infrastructure and provides a strong long-term catalyst, while the current consolidation may simply represent a pause before the stock attempts another move higher.
Wishing you the best,
Wendy
