We are locked in on our BNY chart and will watch it at the open to see if it confirms the move we were looking for.

Another ticker popped on the scans with some promising signs. That dip in the market got everyone looking at ways to protect their accounts and it is pushing safe haven stocks upward. Premarket numbers show tech bleeding more today and that will only fuel this flight.

As that happens the traditional tickers people turn to will benefit. ETFs like GLD are poised to find some buyers but bigger leverage comes from the individual stocks in the sector that already have patterns showing positive signs.

Here is the ticker that jumped out this morning and is going on the watchlist when the bell rings. Take a look.

Newmont (NEM) has had some tug of war chop between buyers and sellers and it looks alot like what we saw back in July. That led to a huge move and we can look for a trade that does well if that repeats. The Dec 18 120 calls are around 6.83 with nice liquidity right now and will be a smart play if we see NEM jump at the open.

We’ll send an update out later this afternoon and see how these to picks to watch this week did.

Keep learning and trade wisely,
