Amazon (AMZN) is gaining attention following the introduction of TorchNeuron, new software designed to make it easier for developers to run PyTorch artificial intelligence applications on Amazon’s custom Trainium chips. By reducing the need to rewrite existing AI programs, the technology could encourage greater adoption of Amazon’s processors and strengthen Amazon Web Services’ competitive position against Nvidia. The development represents another step in Amazon’s efforts to expand its AI infrastructure business while offering customers more cost-effective computing alternatives.

AMZN gained 4.98% on Monday, closing at $262.45 as buying momentum strengthened. The stock is trading above its 8-day, 21-day, and 55-day exponential moving averages, which are aligned in a bullish formation. The PPO is positive and above its signal line, while the RSI at 57.26 indicates additional room for upward movement before reaching overbought territory. The positive directional indicator stands at 24.65, comfortably above the negative directional indicator at 17.41, suggesting buyers are gaining control. Although the ADX remains relatively low at 14.46, the improving momentum indicators suggest a potential early-stage bullish move. Strong trading volume of more than 56 million shares further supports the developing setup.
Wishing you the best,
Wendy
